Creating digital-first creative concepts for campaigns and products. This involved working with designers to pitch ideas to the client, then adjusting the signed-off idea through the various digital touchpoints. These global toolkits were then handed over to global markets to activate locally.
During my time at OLIVER, I also worked for their other clients regularly — The Guardian, Diageo and Unilever.
The Body Shop

I led a small team responsible for crafting global copy across The Body Shop's marketing platforms, including digital, point of sale and public relations. This involved not only overseeing and mentoring team members, but also managing the workflow within the copy studio. Collaborating closely with The Body Shop's in-house creative team, I ensured the consistent integration of their updated tone of voice across all assets during various events and campaigns. I also refined their copy templates to mirror their new website and asset requests. I also played a pivotal role in optimising production processes, ranging from collaborating with the marketing team on how to craft a creative brief to streamlining interactions with other departments such as legal and strategy.
Sept 2014 – Sept 2019
I worked with the marketing and editorial teams to devise successful CRM campaigns that not only entertained but drove conversion to sales. This included emails, lifecycle communications, specialist newsletters, SMS, push and paid social. I also managed a Junior Editor.
Some achievements during my time there include:
· Ranked #1 retailer for email marketing by Dotmailer. Copy praised for tone of voice and relevance to time of year and target audience.
· Best Black Friday campaign from Econsultancy – editorial strategy and execution across the campaign resulted in our highest ever open rate, CTR and revenue from a promo launch (OR +25% on benchmark, Revenue +50% on BM).
· Best Christmas email campaign from Econsultancy. Implemented a spend/save/splurge strategy for gifting which resulted in industry praise from Econsultancy and strong CTR and revenue (+20% on benchmark).

My responsibilities included flatplanning, commissioning, and writing features and reviews. I also worked with clients and our advertising team on advertorials. And, I helped source and interview foodie talent such as Jamie Oliver, Marco Pierre White, Trudie Styler, Jimmy Choo and Raymond Blanc.

I was responsible for writing regular features like Cheese of the Month, food news, product reviews, events and competitions. I also organised props for shoots and maintained relationships with prs, agents, writers and photographers.
