NIKKI SCHER CV
SENIOR COPYWRITER EDITOR JOURNALIST
Global Lead Copywriter for The Body Shop
January 2020 - present
I lead a team that writes all the global copy for The Body Shop's marketing platforms - POS, PR and digital. Digital includes landing pages, home page assets, emails, display, organic and paid social. I work closely with The Body Shop’s creative team to ensure their TOV is carried through all assets over various events and campaigns. Since I started, The Body Shop has transitioned to a new website and new TOV. I help to develop the new TOV and try to encourage the client to embrace it. I refine our copy templates to make sure they reflect the new website and that everything is written with best practice and customer insight in mind. I also work on tightening processes - from working with the digital team on how to create great briefs to how we can work smoothly with various teams. I manage a Junior Copywriter and onboard freelancers when they're needed.
